WOMENEXECS ON BOARDS NAMES FIRST INDEPENDENT DIRECTOR

Delaware, August 18, 2021 –  WomenExecs on Boards, a global network of women who completed board governance programs at Harvard Business School and whose mission is to position qualified members to serve on boards through networking, peer support and education, today announced that Gail F. Lieberman has been named as the first Independent Director to join the group’s Board.

“We are extremely excited to welcome Gail as our first Independent Director to our Board,” said Maria Garcia Nielsen. “She brings a vast experience working on boards of public and private companies across many industries and is a highly accomplished leader whose goals align with our commitment to improve gender diversity and equality on board leadership.”

Ms. Lieberman has been serving as a Board Director of Audit, Compensation and Strategy/Governance committees for public and private companies in the technology, life sciences, manufacturing, security, financial services, and utilities sectors for more than 15 years. She is currently a board member of EquiLend, W.L. Gore & Associates, ICTS-NAS and prior directorships include the South-Central CT Regional Water Authority, Dara BioSciences, I-trax Inc., TriPath Imaging, Breeze-Eastern Corporation and FTEN.
